Today was the general election here in England. Mark and I went over to the polling station earlier.
I was not happy at being rung up at 9:20pm by a local candidate asking if i'd cast my vote yet. Talk about last minute canvassing! I did reply yes then she continued with.....and can ***** ****** (can't remember his name!!) rely on your vote!! I beg your pardon, I *thought* my vote was meant to be private!!

ReplyDeleteI hope you didn't give your number at the door - they are tellers and not part of the voting process and once they have your number they have all your details and bother you next time the election rolls around.
