The top of my drawers are beautiful and it does seem a shame to cover it but I want to protect it as this piece of furniture will be functional and things will be stored on top of it so that's why I made the 'topper'. I'm really pleased with it finished.
Wow, that was quick! It's beautiful and I love that it's reversible too (not that you'd ever want to hide those pretty patterns!)
