Happy Birthday Mark!

46 Today!

 

We had a lovely chilled day celebrating. Firstly we had a treat breakfast at McDonalds.

 

We then went to see Sylvia, Mark's mum as it is her birthday on the same day! Happy Birthday Nanna!

 

 

There is a new Pets at Home store that opened yesterday next door to Carpet Right. It's nice to have a different sort of pet store locally and we all enjoyed looking at the rabbits, fish etc. As it was their opening celebration they had an owl display, beautiful birds. Also a face painter!

 

Charlie and Courtney had been invited to stay at Uncle John (Mark's brother) and Aunty Amanda's overnight, they live on a caravan site and it was the children's Christmas party! We dropped them off and tootled off for some 'adult time' which doesn't happen very often! We ventured to Kendal, to a favourite place of ours that we haven't visited in some time. The Chocolate House is somewhere Mark and I did quite a bit of our 'courting time' so it is a special place to us. Their hot chocolates are amazing accompanied by gorgeous cakes!
